For the first time in ABQ history, the city will allow a skateboarding and snowboarding competition on the Civic Plaza. 5 tons of snow, over 30 vendors, local fashion, live music, live art.

Fabulous! This event sounds like amazing fun. I really think the mix of competition, bands, and vendors will bring in the people. I would love to see pics of this after the event. I have class that night.

One thing that might help you with your blog would be to not only alert your readers about events, but give us the inside scoop- you seem to be the "it" guy when it comes to stuff like this, and seeing as the rest of us don't know anything about it, maybe you could shape your blog not solely on the fliers and events, but how this system is working and what it has to provide etc.
Good job so far, but I'm looking forward to more posts...
