Whats new in the Boo?

Albuquerque has finally decided to put the kids first, below is a description of Albuquerque's premiere youth arts and entertainment center called Warehouse 508.

Through this blog, I will cover events, mission statements and the like throughout Warehouse 508.

Warehouse 508: For the youth, by the youth. Birthed from the dreams and ideas of young individuals far and wide that call Albuquerque home.

Warehouse 508 is Albuquerque's premiere youth venue providing events, opportunities and education in fine arts, urban arts, digital design, theater, music production and MUCH more. You want it, 508 will bring it.

Warehouse 508 is currently in its planning stages and will not be open until Spring 2009. Warehouse 508 wants people from all walks of life, who are willing to work towards a common goal of a Safe, Positive and Creative venue for everyone in Albuquerque, New Mexico and beyond.

Who are the people behind 508? A diverse group of community members who are committed to a common goal of creating a safe, positive, dynamic and all ages venue for the arts, music, media and beyond in Albuquerque. Warehouse 508 will be that venue.

for the love of frank said...

i think you've got a great start here, jhood! the colors are fly--the neons are exciting. you might consider a skyline picture that matches the intensity... maybe a photoshop project for the future? i really like that news bulletin thing at the bottom--"where to find a doula in albuquerque"? wow... unexpected! how did you do that?

i'd like to see your profile on here... or, if you'd rather, put the 508 profile in a permanent spot on the right column instead.
